Shape the initiative from the ground up.
A limited founding cohort of industry partners is being recruited now. Founding Partners don't just fund this work — they help define it.
This is not a sponsorship. It's a founding stake.
The CTE Science Alliance is building something the workforce development world has not seen: a sustained, high‑visibility national campaign that reframes career and technical education as applied science — and makes that reframing stick through research, storytelling, and events that draw real public attention.
We are recruiting a small founding cohort of industry partners to launch this initiative. These are the organizations whose member companies most urgently need what we are building — and who have the most to gain from owning the narrative we create together.
Founding Partners do not write a check and wait for results. They help set science‑mapping priorities, choose the communities where Teach‑In events are held, and stand with us at launch as visible champions of a new and needed story about American work.
The Founding Partner window is limited. Once the cohort is complete, this level of involvement and recognition closes.
Is this the right fit for your organization?
The CTE Science Alliance is built for organizations that share two things: a genuine workforce pipeline challenge, and the communication instinct to understand that changing public perception is how you solve it long-term.
If your members are struggling to recruit and retain skilled workers — and if part of the problem is that young people and their families don't see your industry as a serious, science-driven, future-facing career destination — this initiative was designed for you.
Four program components. One coherent strategy.
Science Mapping
We document the applied science inside CTE courses — pathway by pathway, concept by concept — and publish it in formats educators, parents, policymakers, and industry can use. Founding Partners commission maps for the pathways that matter most to their workforce and receive co‑branded reports and visuals built for real use in Hill meetings, member communications, and media.
Funders: You get concrete, co‑branded proof that your sector’s jobs are real applied science.
CTE Teach-Ins
CTE students visit elementary and middle school classrooms to lead one‑hour, hands‑on applied science lessons they have designed themselves. Students leave with formal recognition, teachers provide feedback on their likelihood of using more applied science, and every event is amplified through earned and social media. Founding Partners host a dedicated Teach‑In in a community of their choosing.
Funders: You put your industry’s science in front of families, educators, and local media.
Infographics & Reports
Science maps become visual products designed to travel across industry, education, media, and policy channels. Founding Partners receive ready‑to‑use, co‑branded assets that create a steady drumbeat of content reinforcing the CTE‑as‑science narrative in their own communications.
Funders: You gain high‑quality content that keeps your CTE and STEM story in circulation.
Cross-Industry Convenings
We convene senior leaders from trade associations, major employers, education institutions, and policy organizations for working sessions on emerging research, shared workforce challenges, and applied science in CTE. Founding Partners have reserved seats and help shape the agenda, putting them in the room with peers who share their workforce needs.
Funders: You sit at the table where the cross‑industry CTE and workforce agenda is set.

Let's talk.
We are currently in conversation with a small number of prospective Founding Partners. If your organization is interested in learning more, we would welcome the opportunity to walk you through the initiative and discuss how a partnership would serve your specific workforce and communications priorities.
Founding Partner conversations are confidential and non-binding until a formal agreement is reached.
